Support for Grieving Parents
When a child passes away, the grief is otherworldly. Parents feel alone and overwhelmed by grief, a longing, inconsolable pain. Resources such as The Compassionate Friends, other organizations and grief therapists can lessen the pain but the only thing that truly helps is the passing of time and the love and support of others in our lives. Personally, helping others was the most therapeutic path through my grief; whether that meant helping another parent navigate this unfair situation or giving time and energy to other worthy causes, serving others was the thing that helped me the most. If you find that you need guidance on your journey, I will do my best to help you. Feel free to contact me via email with the subject line "GRIEF SUPPORT."
